As a full time professional musician, I realized that having a personal website was essential for my business. I am very fortunate to have a very gifted nephew, who is a graduate of the Corcoran College of Art & Design. Originally a painter, he turned his attention to all facets of interactive media. With his generous guidance, my first venture into web design was working on my own website.
The building process was something I enjoyed, so I volunteered my services (pro bono) to a couple of places - this was great on-the-job training. Eventually, a few friends and family members asked me to build websites for them, which in turn led to referrals.....which hopefully you are :)
My websites fill a certain niche. They are very functional, but not very slick or flashy - by that I mean, they don't contain flash animation - although I am working on learning that... so that may be an option somewhere down the road....
I have set up this blog so others can view various projects from one central point. Enjoy :)
